From Amy: There was a man shot in the apartment complex next door. He did not survive. We had heard a gunshot, but Roger looked out the door and did not see anything. We then heard sirens and went out again. That is when we saw the man laying there. I did not know him, but please be in prayer for his family because I am sure they are going through a tough time.

Dayna's friend's mother will find out this week if she has full blown cancer in her lungs. Please keep her in your prayers.

Dayna's Sister in Law's Dad has cancer behind both eyes. He had surgery today and it is possible that he could lose his eyesight. His last name is Warden.

Jeremiah's Grandfather had a stroke.

Prayer Request - Vossen - Todd's Aunt's Sister

Please pray for Mary Baker, (she is Todd's Aunt's sister) She has had a serious stroke and is a diabetic. She is not doing well, and Todd's aunt has asked for prayer. Mary does know the Lord. Also please pray for Janice, Todd's aunt, as this is a very difficult time for her.

Update 8/27/06 - Mary went home to be with the Lord. Please continue to pray for Todd's aunt.

Please pray for Jacob. He tore his rotator cuff playing hockey and is in a lot of pain. Please pray for healing and wisdom in seeking medical advice.

Prayer Request - Saunders Family

The Saunders have asked for prayers for their family with sweet little Jaron.

Praise - Cameron Hayes

Please pray for Cameron Hayes. He has been admitted to Arlington Memorial Hospital with pnemonia. Also, lift up Stormy and Cathy during this time.

Update: 8/8/06 They have not been able to get Cameron's fever under control and he cannot keep his medication down. Prayer Warriors- pray, pray, pray for this little boy and his family!

New Update: 8/8/06 His fever broke (PRAISE GOD) and has more color to his little face than before. The doctor will be in tonight to see him and then determineif he can go home tomorrow. This will depend on...no fever and oxygen level normal. Keep praying!

PRAISE REPORT: Final Update: 8/14/06 Cameron is out of the hospital, was at church yesterday, and is starting school today. Cathy said "THANK YOU" very much for all your prayers. His fever broke very shortly after the request went out to the church and he continued to get better and better after that happened. PRAISE THE LORD!!!!

Please pray for Merleena Horn. Adam and Merleena were attending our class regularly a little while back. Tuesday She had just found out that she had blood clots in her right leg. Also one broke off and went to her lung. She was admitted to Harris Methodist SW on bed rest. She might be there up to 7 days.

Praise - Amy Schaeffer - Dad and Grandma

My dad and grandma continue to improve. Last week, dad was able to mow the lawn using a riding lawn mower. Grandma's oxygen levels are improving. She was supposed to have been released from the nursing home yesterday. Please continue to pray for her. The blood clot behind her knee is still giving her trouble.

This is Dan's last week and he has an overload of assingments and finals. Also please please pray for Burleson ISD teachers and students as we head back to school tomorrow, that we will have a safe, productive year and that Ashley and Hanna will get more opportunities to witness to their classmates.
